"My name is François Benveniste, 58, French. I live in Meudon, 1 mile away from Paris downtown. I am an amateur photographer, no customer to answer to in the right time frame, no brief, I do what I fancy. I started my passion for photography only 3 years ago, with a digital camera right from the beginning. Never used a film camera in my life...I started to shoot at old stones, churches and monuments and gradually came to women, dressed or undressed.
My work is solely intended to create emotions. There are never any messages and my pix are designed to be visible without knowing who I am nor which were my intentions. I like conceptual photography, but I wouldn't indulge into that trend....
To me, naked bodies are a way of creating emotions. A woman who undresses, if you carefully take eroticism away (which I always try to do) is a source of strong affective and social messages. To undress without teasing is a powerful social statement, I believe....
Always looking for new models that pass through Paris....
