"Yugoslav born Israeli freelance photographer, devoted to all things beautiful. Started his photographic career in 1974 when one of his photographs was chosen for a local exhibition in Yugoslavia. Participated at more then 400 group exhibitions world wide since, won numerous prizes and awards, (prestigious Asahi Shimbun Gold Medal among others). Shown works at 25 one-man exhibitions in Israel, South Africa and Yugoslavia.
Photographs published in numerous publications and books and in 2001 published a first monograph, "Creatura Avgusta Dei", a collection of 92 best nude-in-nature images in a luxurious large format hard cover edition.
Two themes dominate Dejan's work: woman and nature, very often inseparable, intertwined. Photographs range from artistic admiration for these divine God's creations, to elegant erotic images of a third millennium woman.
Much of the time Dejan spends teaching and lecturing younger photographers on the Art of Nude in a Tel Aviv studio and various location workshops"
