OLAF ERNST   “I discovered my great passion for photography at 22, when I took my first photographs using an easy to use film camera on a trip to Florida. I started off with nature photography where I learned to focus more on the composition of a photograph than on the object itself. For me photography is based not on the object but the light which paints the object. Three years ago I changed from analog to digital photography. I have a Nikon D200 body and several lenses (Zoom and fixed focus). My first real nude art inspiration came when I joined a nude art workshop in New York one year ago. Since this workshop I've learned a lot about artistic nude photography. Light, shadow, shape, perspective combined with the study of human physiology gives me the inspiration to turn even the average shot into a piece of art. Beauty is more than just a perfect body; People of all shapes and sizes have something special to contribute to fine nude art photography. Normally when shooting I do not plan specific poses or settings. My focus is always on capturing the very individual type and charisma of the model.”
