"Alex Krivtsov was born in the Crimea (peninsula on the shore of the Black Sea) Simferopol city. Since his childhood he was fascinated by art, especially drawing. Later he would make his dream into reality when in 1999 he was part of the publication of book: "Gerda, Shell of the soul" in this fine book of verses, poetic collection of emotional poems by Zoya Surlovoys. Book illustrations by Alex Krivtsov.
Alex has been participant of several exhibitions in several cities in Russia. Critics and reviews have been excellent and recognition was awarded for his work.
He is involved in many projects, one of the latest, the publication of a calendar.
His work is done using Nikon F9, Kiev 88, Bronica G. His films are Fuji, Ilford, Kodak T-max. He does his own scanning with professional equipment, preparation for prints and computer retouching, all done at professional level"
