"I was born in 1964 in Missouri, where I have lived all my life. Educated in the stoic genre of business, and managing retail stores my professional life left little in the way of a creative challenge. My "discovery" of photography three years ago changed that. Beginning with landscapes and weather photography, I quickly found that my first love was nude art, whether shot in the studio or in the environment. The female form to me offers a limitless wealth of canvas to create my vision of feminine beauty. Masters such as Monet, Eakins, Goya, Alfred Stieglitz, Man Ray, and contemporary photographers such as David Hamilton, and Richard Murrian (although my models are 18 or older, this is the Midwest USA!) have inspired me with their visions and they have helped me find my own.
I like to think of myself as an amateur in the purest form of the word. While I maintain the strictest professional ethics, I photograph not for money, but for the love of creating what I hope will be considered art. My personal goals are rather simplistic at this point, gallery exhibition and “coffee table” book publishing of my work."
